“I’ve been going since May this year (2018), reviving weekly acupuncture, herbs, and massage. I went for hair loss, low energy and menopausal symptoms. The hair loss was particularly worrying as my hair had started to get particularly thin, and there was more hair on the floor at home from me, rather than the dog.
Since I’ve been going it turns out that I’m not peri menopausal but that I needed building up again in terms of energy, blood quality and circulation. My monthly periods have returned, my energy is much better - no headaches which were a regular feature - esp in the afternoons. I’m also less bloated and have a flatter stomach.
My excess hair shedding stopped within 2-3 weeks which was great, and I now have lots of fluffy new 1 - 2 inch hair growth. I used to run my hands through my hair worrying about the thinness, this week I’ve been running my hands through my hair delighted at the noticeable increase in thickness. Very exciting.
The herbs are a bit of a faff to prepare - you have to make a batch of tea from them each day, they don’t taste so good, so some commitment is needed, but it’s totally worth it.
Another family member is now going for Chronic Fatigue treatment - early days yet, but some small improvements so far in sleep and energy.”

I met Dr. MAO when I was working in the UK. Later, when I settled in Ireland, due to work pressure, I had severe anxiety and tension, which seriously affected my sleep and the work in the next day. I often make phone calls and video appointments when I feel uncomfortable, and Dr. MAO was always very enthusiastic and patient to answer my questions. “ I’ve been going since May for 15 weeks of treatments and paid an average of £100 a week. (I paid in 3 instalments).This included an hour and 30 mins of treatment each week - acupuncture, cupping, massage, and a weekly prescription of herbs - 7 bags one for each day of the week. (Raw herbs are quite expensive / particularly to import). So it’s definitely been an investment.
